INTRODUCTION

The primary function of our drift course is to train development drivers and educate them on the various techniques available to drift on a high speed track and in competition.  This must be done professionally and in a controlled environment with the necessary safety measures in place.  The final product must be a result of professional training, hard work and dedication both from the facilitator and the student.

Our mission is to deliver an international level of instruction to our students.  To equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to guide them through individual development.

COURSE EXIT PROGRAM

At the end of this 2 day course the student will have the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude to qualify on a pro am level.

TARGET GROUP

Anyone can learn to drift, there are currently 3 female drifters in South Africa, there are no set criteria for someone to come and attend a course with us. 

SECURITY

The facilitator is appointed as the security officer and is responsible for ensuring that all security policies are adhered to. An indemnity form is to be signed.

PRE-ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Before a student is allowed to attend this course he/she must comply with the following entrance requirements:

  1. Be older than 18 years of age.
  2. Have no psychological or physical deviations and be medically fit.
  3. Be in possession of a civilian ID document.
  4. Must have a valid driver’s license.
  5. Have completed the theory briefing.

DURATION OF THE COURSE

The course will be presented over a period of two days (Friday’s and Saturday’s), starting off with the first phase of the drifting course, this is dependent on the students’ abilities and if they have advanced driving skills or previous professional driving experience.

SPECIFIC OUTCOMES

The course will be divided into theory and practical.

It consists out of 4 Phases:

Phase 1:  Power Slide
Phase 2:  Half Clutch
Phase 3:  Handbrake
Phase 4:  Final phase 1, 2, 3 combined

  • Day one:  Theory & assessment, Power slide technique
  • Day two:  Half clutch technique, Handbrake techniqu
